An award of £1000 will given to an East Midlands writer of Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction, or Poetry.
EMBA trustee Jane Streeter, owner of The Bookshop in Lowdham and President of the Bookseller Association said:
The East Midlands has a rich literary seam and the East Midlands Book Award is an excellent way of highlighting the wonderfully diverse range of authors and writing in the area.
