Spoken words is a performance base art form which gives the speaker the platform to practically say what they want to say, within reason. I feel that it’s a great form to use to help people become more aware of their thoughts so they can tap into their inner voice.
At the writers lab this month we will be focusing on taking an in depth look at spoken words as an art form. For example, from the initial idea to the affect of the story.
The session will be filled with excises to get you thinking outside the box and discovering more about yourself, with the core focus being on the material written rather than performing.
This session is for people who write for the stage and the page!
Creative Facilitator: Jan Thomas; who has extensive experience as a performer, writer and facilitator.
