LIT – Meet The Playwright

Nottingham Playhouse

Starts at 07:00 pm on Friday 16th August 2019
Ends at 09:00 pm

A special event for Playhouse Pass members
Hear directly from the author about the creation of this remarkable new play, based on close observation of real lives and rooted in her home town of Nottingham.

Sophie Ellerby‘s drama explores the turbulent life of Bex, a Nottingham teenager looking for love in all the wrong places. An actor as well as a writer, Sophie will discuss how this frank and provocative play and its complex central character were inspired by her experience working with young women in the prison system.
