Cathy Grindrod’s new poetry collection available

Cathy Grindrod’s new poetry collection, The Sky, Head On published by Shoestring Press, is now out and available price £8.95 p+p free from Cathy at cathy.grindrod@btinternet.com She will be reading from the collection on Friday 30 October at Camden Church, Buck Street, Camden with Mandy Coe and Michael Bartholomew-Briggs (7 pm) and at the Flying Goose Café on Tuesday 17 November with Derrick Buttress (7.30 pm).
‘More Glass Than Wall’, an oratorio written by Cathy Grindrod and James Redwood and performed by 180 schoolchildren, solosists and VIVA East Midlands Orchestra at Hardwick Hall, Derby Assembly Rooms and Buxton Festival in 2008, has been nominated in the Educational Project Category for a 2009 British Composer Award. Results will be announced on 1 December and the ceremony broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 2 December.
