Henderson Mullin selected as Regional Arts Advisor for the East Midlands

Chief Executive, Henderson Mullin has been selected by the Arts Council as one of the ‘Regional Arts Advisors’ for the East Midlands.
Arts Council England is developing its flagship project for the Cultural Olympiad, Artists taking the lead, in partnership with London 2012 and the UK arts councils. Twelve cutting edge artists’ commissions will be created in 12 contrasting locations across the UK in the run up to 2012, showcasing the best creative talent in the UK.
Henderson has been selected by Arts Council England who have been looking for artists in England to become Regional Artist Advisors for the project.
Each of Arts Council England’s nine regional offices will select a panel of 6-8 Artist Advisors.
The regional groups will be responsible for: – Assessing the ideas submitted by artists – Choosing a shortlist of ideas to be put forward for development – Recommending the final commission for each region – Acting as advocates for the Artists taking the lead project
