CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
In association with Broadway Cinema, Writing East Midlands and Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature, Nottingham Trent University presents Re:Vision, a series of writing workshops followed by talks and film screenings featuring internationally acclaimed, award-winning writers. We invite you to participate.
The writing workshops are FREE to attend and will take place at Broadway Cinema on the following Wednesday afternoons from 2.30-4.30pm: 19 April 2017, 26 April, 3 May, 10 May, 17 May, 24 May, 31 May, 7 June 2017. Led by specialists from the English Department at Nottingham Trent University, workshops will explore themes ranging from the telephone and travel to nuclear futures and outer space. We welcome participants who are able to attend several of the workshops and who would be willing to give feedback, in an informal environment, of writing in this way. Participants do not need any prior experience of writing.
• All workshops offer a friendly and supportive environment in which participants can develop writing across several genres.
• Participants will have the opportunity to present their work at a reading on 14 June.
• Participants will receive a free ticket to the talk and film screening at Broadway Cinema that follows the workshop.
Although the workshops are free to attend, places are limited and booking is essential. To register your interest and for further details email email@example.com or phone 0115 848 3244.
