It’s Time to Talk: A Creative Writing Competition
Mark your calendars, send us your submission and
‘Explore an element of Mental Health and / or Wellbeing through Writing’
for a chance to win two hours of mentoring with our founder and Creative Writing tutor, Dr Sophie-Louise Hyde!
Deadline: Midnight on Friday 2nd March 2018.
To be eligible, your poem, short story or non-fiction / essay piece should follow the word count outlined below:
Word Counts
Poems: approx. 600 words (x2 A4 pages)
Short stories: 1500 words max.
Non-fiction/essays: 1500 words max.

To submit your entry, simply follow the link to this competition in our online shop and place your order / make your entry fee payment by BACS, Paypal or debit/credit card.
Following this, you will receive an order number (#****) and you should include both this number and ‘Time to Talk Competition’ in the Subject Line of your email submission to us.
Please note: Submissions emailed to us without this order number will not be accepted or considered – the order number is required as your proof of payment.
Send your submission to sophie@thestudentwordsmith.com as an email attachment (Word doc. or PDF) with the subject line as above in order to be in with a chance to win this mentoring opportunity.
All submissions should be submitted anonymously. Leave your name off your submission document, but include your name, contact telephone number and email address in the body of your email.
