Screenwriter William Ivory made his debut as a playwright with ‘The Retirement of Tom Stevens’ in 2006. The sequel, ‘Bomber’s Moon’, will be presented at Lakeside Arts Centre from 5-22 May. In this event he discusses the triumphs and challenges of writing for the stage with director Matt Aston and artistic director of Theatre Writing Partnership Kate Chapman. How has a leading screenwriter approached writing drama without the benefit of close-ups, voiceovers and panning shots? (www.lakesidearts.org.uk)
