H.E.Bates Short Story Writing Competition

The competition is open to all writers; entrance fee £4 per story or £1 per story if entering the under 18 category.
Prizes are £150, £100, and £50, plus £50 for the best Northamptonshire writer and £50 for the best under 18 writer.
Judging panel comprises members of the Northampton Writers Group – the head judge is Sue Moorcroft, author of Starting Over, All That Mullarkey, and Love Writing – How To Make Money Writing Romantic Or Erotic Fiction, and much else.
Stories can be submitted by post or by e-mail.
