Freelance Development Director, Nottingham Writers Studio

Nottingham Writers’ Studio has been awarded a second round of Arts Council Funding to build on its success in supporting writers in the local area. The Studio is seeking a development director to turn the commitments outlined in its successful bid into a deliverable programme. The contract will initially be fixed for one year and awarded on a freelance basis. The post would suit an independent, ambitious and creative person who is able to work effectively at board level, as well as being able to deal with the day-to-day needs of members efficiently.
The headline responsibility is to translate the commitments in the Arts Council bid into a programme of activities.
Fee: 20 hour week, at £13.50 an hour, for a 12 month contract.
