Residential Creative Writing/ Poetry Workshop in Lincolnshire Wolds

Posted on 10th August 2010

For the second year Christopher Sanderson (poet and workshop leader in both Louth and Lincoln) and freelance award-winning poet Paul Sutherland with seven collections and a highly respected workshop leader are running a residential workshop in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, from Monday Oct 18th – Friday 22nd, arriving after 3pm on Monday, departing noon on Friday – at a 4 star accommodation with all modern facilities and with fantastic views in a picturesque and secluded location.

The theme of the workshops will be Change. There will be tutoring, time for writing,
free time and time for performing and one to one meetings with the tutors if desired.

Please see our website for more detailed information: www.lincolnshirewritingcentre.co.uk and attached flyer

There is ample communal ‘workshop and reading’ space with tables, lounges and various corners as well as a patio outside.
But each accommodation unit/ cottage has its own kitchen with dishwasher and eating area and lounge relaxing TV space.

Food will be provided but if there is special food and drink you’d like to bring please do so as each accommodation
has its own fridge, cupboards and supply of crockery etc.

Like last year we will arrange transport from Lincoln or Horncastle and from other locations to assist people to attend;
there’s a good bus service from Lincoln to Horncastle.

Accommodation is totally accessible and we welcome those writers with disbilities to attend the residential workshop

To share a bed room with one other person the cost is £265.00

To have your own bedroom or to come as a couple the cost is £325.00

To come to the workshops as a non-resident the cost is £45.00 per day

To express your interest we’re asking for a £50 deposit with the outstanding amount paid
at the latest two weeks before the residential workshop starts. Please make cheques payable to Dream Catcher
and send to my address below.

If you wish to discuss any of the above please contact me by email or phone 01673 844325.

Places are limited.

I hope you will be interested. Also I want to say the accommodation
is excellent for a couple – very private and there are countless things to see and do in the Wolds and
nearby market towns, Louth and Horncastle as well on the seaside at Mablethorpe and Skegness.

Please pass this information on to writers you know.

Our residential workshop is followed by the Wolds Words Festival in East Lindsey, primarily in Louth

best wishes
Paul Sutherland
