Daley James Francis has been writing stories since he was a kid. The only things that have changed over time is his spelling and the size of his beard.
He has been a freelance writer since graduating from De Montfort University with a degree in Creative Writing and Journalism in 2012, and in that time, has written for many publications, written and produced short films that have been shown in festivals all over the world, and watched a life-threatening number of episodes of The Wright Stuff.
In 2014, Daley ventured into self-publishing, releasing three novels within six months. WALKING UP A SLIDE, a rom-com-for-guys, was the first, followed by children’s adventure novel THIS BOOK BELONGS TO, and SOMERFLIP, a comedy-drama set mostly in a pub.
He is currently adapting two of his books into screenplays, whilst working on a host of film and novel projects.
He lives in Loughborough with his wife and addiction to Netflix.
