Writer Biography

As community language arts worker since 1988, I developed my writing skills in poetry, story and script. Duirng the first ten years of my career, I toured with participatory theatre company, Word And Action (Dorset), enabling all kinds of groups to create and act their own plays.

Since then, I have written and run projects for Ilkeston Festival, Draycott Startle, Nottingahmshire Library Service, Derby Gallery and Museum, Creative Partnerships schools, prisons, the BBC, Leicester Museums nad Galleries, Nottingham Caslte, The Big Wheel, various artists, Childrens Lincs…the list continues.

I am committed to working in the round.

    I’ve worked with age one to ninety two. I have been a community langauge arts worker since 1988, enabling particiapnts to create stories, perform, write, paint, produce poetry, print and let their imaginations go whoopeee.
