Writer Biography

Elizabeth Chadwick is an award winning New York Times and USA Today best selling author of historical fiction. Her first novel The Wild Hunt won a Betty Trask Award which was presented to her by HRH the Prince of Wales. Her novel The Scarlet Lion was nominated by Richard Lee, founder of the Historical Novel Society as one of his top ten historical novels of the decade. In 2011 she won the RNA Award for Historical Fiction with her novel To Defy A King. Her work is translated in 18 languages and she is a leading author in the field of historical fiction.
