I’ve had over fifty short stories published in Woman’s Weekly, My Weekly, The Weekly News, The People’s Friend and Take A Break Fiction Feast in the UK, and That’s Life Fast Fiction in Australia.
I’ve also had non fiction published by Prima, My Weekly, Savista, This England and Evergreen magazines, and I write regularly about subjects of interest to writers for Writers’ Forum and Writing Magazine.
I have given talks on writing at The Festival Of Romance, The Momaya Press Awards Ceremony, Northamptonshire Literature Group and on BBC Radio Northampton.
I run my own private workshops in Northampton for people who are interested in writing for the women’s magazine market and I also offer an email critique service and an online short story writing course.

I am an experienced trainer having delivered training in the voluntary sector for many years. I have also worked with looked after young people and people with learning disabilities, so I have experience of working with hard to reach groups.
I have experience of delivering talks and workshops to adults and can provide short story related talks of an hour upwards and also full day workshops.
I have experience of training adults in the voluntary sector and will be completing the PTLLS qualification later this year.
