I was born and raised in Coalville, Leicestershire and now live in Hugglescote with two crazy cats and an army of talkative teddy bears. I’m an avid urban fantasy fan and write mainly in this genre, but occasionally venture down the horror route. I’m currently working to complete my second novel, the first installment in an urban fantasy series (I let a werewolf eat my first novel so that I’d never have to suffer the embarrassment of having anyone else see it). I also have a half-completed novel that I wrote alongside a home study course in fiction writing, which I hope to resurrect in the future. I have two short stories published in anthologies, one published on the Jacqui Bennett Writer’s Bureau website, and an honourable mention in the Best Horror of the Year Volume 4 for my story ‘The Wolf Runs In The Barley’, which was published in Dark Tales XV. I made the shortlist in a 2011 Words With Jam competition for the first page of my part-completed novel, and have also been shortlisted for Writing Magazine short story competitions on three occasions. I recently won the Writing Magazine Paranormal Short Story competition, due to be published around September 2013. Please see my website for information, where you will find the first chapter of my part-completed novel available to read.
