I have always been a bookworm and knew I wanted to be a writer. I tried poetry and short stories, but last year I completed an MA in Writing, Nature and Place and finally found my form – creative non-fiction nature writing.
Since then I have been continuing my education in nature writing by reading voraciously. I have also started a blog to showcase my writing and am enjoying getting involved in the blogging world.
I recently had an article about swift conservation published in Roofing Today magazine.
I still enjoy writing short stories and recently got involved with Cake (cakeshortandsweet.wordpress.com), a Manchester based writing project with a focus on short stories. I am currently writing short stories for an anthology of work by unpublished writers.
I also write reviews for Torn (tornmag.wordpress.com), an online arts and culture magazine.
I still write the odd poem when inspiration strikes.
