Writer Biography

Sarah Daniels is a recovering academic. After more than a decade spent studying how people kept animals in the ancient world she escaped to rural Lincolnshire, where she lives with her own clan of feral beasts. When necessary her husband brings her emergency toast.

Sarah is a graduate of the Curtis Brown Creative Online Novel Writing Course. Her work has appeared in Gravel, Five On The Fifth, Fictive Dream and Neon, and is forthcoming in Ghostlight, The Magazine Of Terror and 600 Second Saga. In 2018 she was a finalist in the NYC Midnight Short Story Writing Competition and one of seven writers selected for Fictive Dream’s September Slam. She has been nominated for Best British And Irish Flash Fiction and Best Small Fictions. She’s working on her first novel.
