Biography

I started writing when very young but never had thought of of being a published writer, because I thought all writers were dead and b) it was something so far above me, it seemed impossible.
However, I kept writing, mostly short stories and poetry until, eventually, I started writing books and, amazingly to me, getting them published.
I won the ACORN AWARD for PICTURE BOOKS but my stories and books range from picture books to young adults and have been short-listed for many Awards and translated into many languages.
