Chesterfield Super Scribers

Chesterfield Super Scribers will meet monthly at Chesterfield library, led by published fiction writer for young adults, Emma Pass.

Sessions take place on a Monday afternoon/evening, 4.30pm-6pm and are aimed at 9–14 year olds.

Bursary Places

We offer a number of bursary places for all groups. Enquiries are dealt with in the strictest confidence and awarded to those with limited financial means. If you are in receipt of any kind of benefits, you could qualify. Please get in touch as soon as possible as an application may take a few days to process.

 

About the Lead Writer

Emma Pass

Emma Pass is an author of dark, gritty fiction for young adults. Her debut novel, ACID, won the North East Teenage Book Award and was picked by YALSA as a Top Ten Amazing Audiobook for 2015, and both ACID and her second novel, The Fearless, were nominated for the Carnegie Medal. Both books are published by Random House Children’s Publishing in the UK, and Delacorte in the US. When she’s not writing, she runs workshops for writers of all ages and with fellow YA author Kerry Drewery, she runs the UKYA Extravaganza.
